It won’t be long before parents and kids are hitting the stores for back-to-school supplies, clothes, new shoes, haircuts and open houses as they head into the 2008-2009 school year.  To help them get ahead of the game and be prepared when the school bell rings, Thomas Media is hosting a Back to School Expo at the Old Hickory Mall. This is your chance to get general and signup information on after school care, sports, Girl and Boy Scouts, and all other extra curricular activities.  Participating Kids will vote for the “Kid’s Choice Award: Best in Show 2008”. Make sure to plan a fun and interactive booth the kids will want to visit so you can take home the Trophy and other goodies for Best in Show.

The Expo’s marketing plan includes publicity, business fax blasts, in mall signage, printed ads in the Jackson Sun and local family magazines, flyers distributed to daycares, Internet postings and listings, and over 1,000 60-second promotional announcements on all five Thomas Media radio stations. Thomas Media will also be broadcasting from the event site.
